As I wrote yesterday, while suffering the get-home-after-vulcano-issues in Islamabad, it has been great to enjoy the great and recognized service at Marriott in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Today I had a chance to speak for some time with the general manager, who has been in his position only for 3 weeks. German, true professional with wide global experience and so full of energy! And visions. H.N; I just know you will do such a good work in Islamabad! By end of the day, it’s only about a mission, visions and way to get make those true. And that’s what good service requires; professional and visionary management and great, committed staff! After talking with many of the staff members too, I can feel the commitment.

As the evenings in Islamabad right now would be so perfect for outside seating, I do look forward to see some estate development taking place in the near future. That’s the area where another great Islamabad hotel property Serena is still winning. But H.N. can make such big things to happen, I believe.
