I was having some other thoughts from this corner seat as well but since this subject is really irritating me so badly, let this be the Message today.

Type those two words in Google, or actually only two first letters of the first word are enough, and you will get like tens of millions of hits. Take a look on any media in any place of this planet, and you will face at least one news report about it. And I mean everywhere, my friends.

Yes, it’s that swine flue. You have heard about that, right? I guess it took weeks or months before most of us got the point that strange combination of agent-like-number and letters H1N1 is the same thing and swine flu is still winning among the people around the world. Even in Google numbers.

Okay, I am not a doctor so there won’t be any medical approach here. But there’s a very practical and commonsense approach I just need to put on the table; Swine flu, as pretty much every flu or other virus or bacteria based decease goes from hand to another. Yes, it does. You know, every time you do couple of handshakes you also made yourself part of the global viral marketing campaign, for a bad cause in this case. And how that cycle-of-viruses could be cut? Aaah, so easy – wash your hands, you idiot!

We know those signs in restrooms of restaurants or shops in the US; “Employees must wash their hands”. What the heck is that? How about those signs are taken down and replaced with a new one saying with CAPITALS and LOUD; “Everyone must wash their hands!!” Hello guys here for example; please make new ones available!

Please join this observation and you will understand both my attitude and the secret for blowing swine flu stream; when you are in the restroom or leaving the restroom listen and watch how many of the users actually leave the room WITHOUT washing their hands? No, I am not talking about employees now; I mean regular visitors/users of a public restroom. I have done that so many times and need to warn you. That without-washing-percentage is so horrible that it will transform any normal, average-IQ guy into a Mr. Hughes in his late years. What’s wrong with people – are you crazy? Or can’t you read? Or do you work for a medicine company producing flu medicines? I am very peaceful guy but this topic just makes me crazy.

Maybe a month or so and the whole swine flu topic is gone from the publicity. But there will be a new one. And if people wash their hands we would not be obliged to see people walking into airplanes wearing a facemask. I’m so sorry but those look so ridiculous, it’s like the bird-flu is coming back…actually, where did that go? Well, maybe it is just waiting for its turn in some restroom.
